As a PDG Program Architect, Kathryn Burke-Howe is an experienced consultant who helps clients analyze workforce needs and define a learning and performance improvement strategy that addresses those needs. Kathryn is a project leader who knows what it takes to build and implement a large-scale program with many moving parts and senior stakeholders. On any given project, Kathryn may play the role(s) of project manager, performance consultant, and/or instructional
designer.
Kathryn leads highly-complex projects with quality, adhering to schedules and budgets, while managing change proactively and productively. As a key interface between PDG and client project teams, Kathryn manages project planning and progress reporting, ensures that project team members obtain and review content, and provides experienced input and instructional design oversight to ensure creative design and functional, usable programming. Customers rely on her “no surprises” project management approach, attention to detail, and focus on project quality. She believes if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing with integrity, on time, and with high quality.
She brings to her role nearly twenty years of experience, spanning the fields of training, project management, knowledge management, technical support, and database/application development. She has deep experience within the pharmaceutical and Information Technology (IT) industries, and has led and contributed to training efforts throughout her career. Kathryn served on the conference faculty at the HDI 2007 World Conference on Customer and Technical Support, and has presented at the Knowledge Management Group of Philadelphia on the topic of Knowledge-Centered Support.
