Austin Kirkbride, M.A., is a Project Manager, certified in Scrum and waterfall project management approaches, and an Organizational Change Management specialist with 20 years of domestic and international experience working in the people side of technology and change. She has been a consultant across various industries, and spent the majority of her career consulting and supporting learning and performance, as well as communication needs of the organization. Her recent experience of bringing the Agile/Scrum framework to a corporate university environment has provided a rich blend of all of her experience and skills.
In addition to program management, Austin has also worked in the learning and development industry over the course of her career. An instructional designer and trainer at heart, she continues to apply her skills in multimedia, graphic design and adult learning, as well as her university adjunct and classroom training experience to the process of adult learning and development. Her understanding of the learning industry, combined with her passion for project management and organizational development through change management, have provided her a keen understanding of what organizations – and people – need in order to succeed in their job.
